The exhibition showcase nearly 200 exhibits of Central Africa, spanning the 19th to the early 20th centuries, allowing visitors to appreciate the three treasures of Central African art––sculptures, masks, and weapons––and understand their fundamental roles in society.
The exhibition (re)interprets the arts reflecting the beliefs, rituals and sociocultural memories of the people through new media technologies with media art installations inviting visitors to perceive Central Africa art through multi-sensory channels.
